Designer and painter, Mary has been involved in the visual arts for over 40 years.  After earning her BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Georgia, she worked in Aspen, Colorado designing restaurant and business logos.  She attended the School of Visual Arts and spent ten years in New York City as an art director working on the Charlie Chaplin IBM account.  Mary pursued her painting at night at the Art Student's League studying under David Leffel.  She has also studied with Sarah Lamb and Michael Klein.

Mary is a realist painter.  She spent six years in Europe studying painting at
The Louvre Museum, Paris and portrait painting with Marike Bok in The Hague, Holland. 


Mary has been back in the States since 2001. She continues to paint locally in her studio in Darien and lately has been expanding her fine art to printmaking, collage, and abstraction.

Mary's work can be found throughout the United States and Europe in several galleries, offices, and homes.
